Welcome to IIBA® South Florida Chapter.  Our membership base includes over a hundred professionals from south of Miami to Jupiter who are engaged in business analysis or manage those who do, with 70% membership growth in the past two years. Members represent the spectrum of private and public employers in this world renowned region of the U.S., including at least a couple IIBA members each from Aetna, BankUnited, Burger King Corporation, Citizens Financial Group, Citrix Systems, Florida Power and Light, National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI Holdings), New Horizons South Florida, and South Florida Water Management District.  Worldwide there are 13,700 IIBA member in early June 2010 and 92 chapters, numbers that continue to grow impressively each month.

The objectives of the Chapter are to:

  • Advance the role of the Business Analyst as a recognized profession

  • Support opportunities for members to network with, and gain knowledge from, seasoned BA practitioners as well as with industry and government leaders

  • Provide access for members to a formal “knowledge base” as well as forums for sharing expertise, expressing professional opinions and building a reputation within the industry

  • Provide pathways to learn about business analysis best practices

  • Create corporate support for IIBA within the local market by superior marketing/awareness programs that demonstrate the value of business analysis and IIBA

  • Liaise with industry and association partners to increase awareness and benefit of IIBA chapter members
